How do I access ITSC's Remote Desktop tool (GoToAssist)?

This article provides step-by-step instructions for accessing the ITSC’s Remote Desktop Tool - GoToAssist. This tool is designed to facilitate remote support sessions between users and ITSC support agents. This service is limited to viewing only, the ITSC support agents will not be able to control your device. Additionally, this is available for personal devices only and is not authorized for use on YCCD devices.

Users can access the remote desktop tool through the following websites:
For Windows Users:
  1. Initiate the Session:
  2. Download and Run the Tool:
    • Click on the provided link to download the remote desktop tool.
      •  Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    • Locate the downloaded file (usually in your ‘Downloads’ folder).
    • Open the downloaded file, which will prompt a window to appear.
  3. Enter Credentials:
    • In the pop-up window, enter your name and support key provided by ITSC to begin your support session.

For Mac and Mobile Users:
  1. Select the Service:
  2. Provide Details:
    • You will be prompted to enter your name and support key.
    • Enter the details as provided by ITSC to connect with a support agent.
