How do I access ITSC's Remote Desktop tool (GoToAssist)?
Answer
Overview:
This article provides step-by-step instructions for accessing the ITSC’s Remote Desktop Tool - GoToAssist. This tool is designed to facilitate remote support sessions between users and ITSC support agents. This service is limited to viewing only, the ITSC support agents will not be able to control your device. Additionally, this is available for
personal devices only
and is not authorized for use on YCCD devices.
Access Points:
Users can access the remote desktop tool through the following websites:
WebSupport365
The IT Support Center 365 Support
Instructions:
For Windows Users:
Initiate the Session
:
Visit either
WebSupport365
or
The IT Support Center 365 Support
to start the process.
Contact ITSC for the
support key
.
Download and Run the Tool
:
Click on the provided link to download the remote desktop tool.
Locate the downloaded file (usually in your ‘Downloads’ folder).
Open the downloaded file, which will prompt a window to appear.
Enter Credentials
:
In the pop-up window, enter your
name
and
support key
provided by ITSC to begin your support session.
For Mac and Mobile Users:
Select the Service
:
Navigate to
WebSupport365
or
The IT Support Center 365 Support
.
Choose the appropriate option for Mac or mobile devices.
Provide Details
:
You will be prompted to enter your
name
and
support key
.
Enter the details as provided by ITSC to connect with a support agent.
Note:
Please ensure that you are using this service on a personal device. The use of the ITSC’s Remote Desktop Tool on YCCD devices is strictly prohibited.
