A . You can start by importing many passwords at once to LastPass or Adding them one by one.
- To import, select Import many passwords at once to LastPass.
- Select the browser you want to import the passwords from (Chrome, Edge, etc.)
- As an example - you can export all your passwords from Google Chrome Browser.
- Select the three vertical dots menu on the top right of the Chrome Browser.
- Select Settings
- Select Autofill and Passwords
- Select the menu item next to Saved passwords and then Export.
- You can then upload the exported file to LastPass.
- Drag and drop the file containing the passwords exported from your Chrome Password Manager. OR
- Select browse your computer. Browse for the Chrome export file on your computer, select it, and click Open.
- By default, all items are selected for import. If desired, make the following changes:
- De-select items you don't want to import.
- If you want to create duplicate items (by importing items with the same username, password, and URL that already exist in your vault), enable the Select all duplicates setting at the bottom of the list.
- Select Import All.
- Your selected login credentials have been imported from Chrome into your LastPass vault.
B . You can also input passwords manually.
- Select Add items one-by-one or by clicking the round plus (+) button.
- Select the Password button.
- Fill out the Information
- URL – Website Name/Link
- Name of the account/password
- Username – User Login Information
- Site password – Password to login to the website
- Advanced Settings – Extra features
- Folder and Notes – Enter details that will help you organize your data
C . Add Passwords after the Website Login
- After logging in to a site, LastPass will ask if you want to save your credentials. Just click Add password and your credentials will be saved to the vault.
