How do I fix Google Chrome/ Microsoft Edge Browser Related Issues?

To fix browser-related problems, please try updating your browser and/or clear your browser cache.


How to Clear Your Web Browser Cache & History


For Google Chrome Browser
1. Click the three vertical dots in the top right of your chrome browser
2. Click "Settings"
3. Click "Privacy And Security" tab on the left
4. Click "Clear Browsing Data"
5. Click drop down box by "time range" and select "All time"
6.  Make sure all relevant boxes are checked - if you want to be sure, then select all boxes.
7. Click "Clear data" button
8. Close all browser windows and restart the browser.

For Microsoft Edge
1.  Click the three horizontal dots in the top right of the edge browser
2.  Click "Settings"
3.  Click "Privacy, search and services" tab on the left sidebar
4.  Under "Clear browsing data", click "choose what to clear" button
5.  Click the box under "Time range" and select "All time"
6.  Make sure all relevant boxes are checked - normally this is "Browsing history", "Cookies and other site data", and "Cached images and files".  If you want to be sure, select all boxes.
7.  Click the "Clear Now" button
8.  Close all browser windows and restart the browser.

 

How To Update Your Web Browser

For Google Chrome:

  1. Click the three dots at the top right of your Google Chrome browser

  2. Click "Settings"

  3. Click on "About Chrome"

  4. Updates should happen automatically.  You may need to re-launch Google Chrome after it updates.  You may also need to enable downloads over metered connections if you are on a metered network.  

For Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the three dots at the top right of your Microsoft Edge browser

  2. Click "Settings"

  3. Click on "About Microsoft Edge" on the left of the screen.

  4. Updates should happen automatically.   You may need to re-launch Microsoft Edge after it updates. You may also need to enable downloads over metered connections if you are on a metered network.
