Student Self Service - Registering for Classes

How do I register for classes in Student Self Service?
Answer

This article will provide information on Registering for Classes after you have completed your Required Agreements and completing your Student Course Plan.

After logging into the YCCD Single Sign-On Portal at login.yccd.edu, and selecting the WCC Self-Service or the YC Self-Service tile, select Student Planning, Go To Plan & Schedule, Timeline and this window will open.

If you have not completed your Required Agreements or created your Course Plan, please review the information articles below.

Once you have added courses to your Timeline, you can go to your Schedule.  You will be ready to register for classes once Registration Opens.

Note that classes in yellow indicate "Planned".

Asynchronous online courses will not show up in the weekly schedule (days and times grid).

Asynchronous online course information will be located at the bottom of the weekly schedule (days and times grid).

To register, click the "Register Now" or individual 'Register" buttons.  After registration is complete note the "Register" button will transition to a "Drop" button.
