Update Browser Language in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge
Google Chrome
For Windows and macOS

Open Chrome
Launch the Google Chrome browser on your computer.

Access Settings
Click the three vertical dots (menu) in the upper-right corner and select Settings.

Navigate to Languages
- Scroll down and click Advanced to expand the menu.
- Under Languages, click Language.

Add a Language
- Click Add languages.
- Select your preferred language from the list and click Add.

Set Display Language
- Next to the added language, click the three vertical dots.
- Select Display Google Chrome in this language.

Restart Chrome
Close and reopen Chrome for the changes to take effect.
For Chrome OS

Open Settings
Click the time in the bottom-right corner of your screen, then select the gear icon.

Navigate to Languages
- Click Advanced.
- Go to Languages and input.

Add a Language
- Under Languages, click Add languages.
- Select your preferred language and click Add.

Set Display Language
- Next to the added language, click the three vertical dots.
- Check Show system text in this language.

Restart Chrome OS
Click Restart to apply the changes.
Microsoft Edge
For Windows and macOS

Open Edge
Launch Microsoft Edge on your computer.

Access Settings
Click the three horizontal dots (menu) in the upper-right corner and select Settings.

Navigate to Languages
In the left panel, click Languages.

Add a Language
- Click Add languages.
- Search for or select your preferred language and click Add.

Set Display Language
- Next to the added language, click the three horizontal dots.
- Select Display Microsoft Edge in this language.

Restart Edge
Close and reopen Edge for the changes to take effect.
